Job Description

As a NetDevOps team we at Evernorth are bringing Software Engineering, Agile DevOps principles to Enterprise Networking, and Enterprise Networking into the DevOps team. NetDevOps is infrastructure as code; it is automatingnetwork engineering/operations to the furthest extent possible.

In this role you will:

Deliver infrastructure as code that has had automated end-to-end testing, documentation via published work development processes standards.
Greatly reduce repetitive boring manual tasks so you can work on the fun challenging projects that advance efficiency and operational integrity of Cignas IT infrastructure.
Prevent fat finger mistakes or other errors and revert configurations back to the last working configuration to restore network services as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities

As a Network automation SDET you will:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Design, implement and execute test cases for web applications.
Experience with REST API testing
Collaborate closely with developers to identify test requirements
Identify and report bugs, ensuring proper follow-up.
Work with the DevOps resource to integrate the tests into the CI/CD pipeline
Perform functional testing, regression testing and smoke testing.
Work with the team to improve process, practice and tools in support of SDLC
Documenting the existing standards and develop designs to improve the efficiency of the automation testing.
Work in an Agile framework, and will be part of the Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand up, Sprint review and retrospective etc
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Jenkins/Linux/Django/Networking (protocols, routing, firewall rules, etc) experiences is a plus.

Required Experience Education:

13-16 years of total experience required
BachelorDegree (Business or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of Selenium
4+ years as SDET
4+ years of Python development experience
Networking experience is a plus.

Desired Experience:

Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
