Indirect Tax Manager

Job Description: Indirect Taxation Manager Department : Taxation Location: Gurgaon Client Base: UAE Prior UAE VAT experience strongly preferred. About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage our GST compliance functions and lead our tax team. This role is perfect for someone with strong expertise in GST, tax compliance, and reporting. UAE VAT experience is preferred Key Responsibilities : Lead the preparation, filing, and submission of GST returns in compliance with local laws and regulations. Oversee the management of GST compliance processes, including reconciling GST liabilities and ensuring accurate documentation. Collaborate closely with the tax team to ensure proper reporting and adherence to GST regulations across all business functions. Provide expert advice on GST and VAT implications for company transactions, ensuring compliance with the UAE VAT law. Manage VAT return preparation and filing for the UAE jurisdiction, staying up-to-date with VAT legislative changes and business developments. Act as the main point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities related to GST and VAT. Conduct risk assessments, prepare detailed tax reports, and provide strategic tax advice to senior management. Manage relationships with external tax consultants and auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues. Required Skills & Qualifications : Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-7 years of experience in GST and indirect tax compliance. Strong understanding of GST and VAT regulations, with prior UAE VAT experience strongly preferred. Experience in managing tax teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance. Proficiency in handling complex tax-related issues and providing detailed reporting.
