Established in 1960, NewAge Industries is one of Asia's most recognized manufacturers of firefighting equipment. Based in Surendranagar, Gujarat, the company boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. NewAge offers an extensive range of products including fire hoses, rescue tools, and fire vehicles. The company is affiliated with many international organizations and is a fellow member of various industry associations and standardizing institutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Specialist located in Ahmedabad. The Import Specialist will be responsible for managing the import process from start to finish. Day-to-day tasks include preparing import documentation, liaising with international trade partners, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The specialist will also handle customer service related to import activities and facilitate smooth import operations.

Qualifications

Skills in Import, Import Export, and International Trade
Experience in Export and Customer Service
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of import regulations and trade compliance
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field is preferred
Experience in the firefighting equipment industry is a plus
