Machine Preparation -- Gets ready the HD machine to provide treatment for Renal impairment patient(Guest). Put machine on Rinse and attaches dialyzer and tubing to machine to assemble for use and do prime and kept ready to begin session. -- Mixes dialysate, according to formula, and connect into machine, pass the test and keep reading for start treatment procedure. Vital assessment and Starting procedure -- Transports patient to dialysis room and positions patient on cot at HD machine. -- Takes and records patient's vital parameters. -- Explains dialysis procedure and operation of HD machine to patient before treatment to alleviate fear. -- Cleans area of access, using antiseptic solution. -- Connects HD machine to access in patient's forearm or catheter site to start blood circulating through extra-corporeal circuit. Setting limits, Observation and Documentation -- Inspects equipment settings, including pressures, conductivity, and temperature to ensure conformance to safety standards. -- Starts blood flow pump at prescribed rate. -- Inspects venous and arterial pressures as registered on equipment to ensure pressures are within established limits. -- Calculates fluid removal or replacement to be achieved during dialysis procedure. -- Monitors patient for adverse reaction and Hemodialysis machine for malfunction. Termination process -- Return blood once treatment completed, with prescribed Qb speed by adding Heparin in NS if its mentioned in protocol. -- Dislodge needle from access site, arrest bleeding by holding the point with genuine pressure. -- Takes and records patient's post dialysis weight, temperature, blood pressure and pulse rate. Machine disinfection -- After treatment, Put HD machine on water rinse, Chemical rinse/ Hot disinfection. -- Replace chemical for disinfection process -- Cleansing machine externally. Reprocessing -- Takes Dialyzer and Blood lines into the reuse room. -- Put it into water wash -- Follow Manual or Auto reuse process -- Obtain authentication and entered it into the register. Document it if dialyzer reuse failed with an reason. -- Properly storing it for next session. -- If machine are used for reuse procedure, then sanitizing at end and maintaining neatly. RO management -- Gives back wash, salt regeneration and rinse on regular basis. -- Monitor and document, the pressure variation across pre-treatment filters, micron filters, Pre and Post RO membrane. Checks everyday flow of RO- Permeate and Reject and document it. -- Performs monthly membrane and pipe line disinfection, sending RO for Microbiological and Chemical analysis (if any) and follow up to get report and informing to clinical team head. Job Specification Age : 22- 32 yrs Qualification: 2 years Diploma in Dialysis Experience require: 1 to 4 yrs as a Dialysis Technician Local regional language is mandatory
