Job Description

. The candidate should be capable of creating age-appropriate learning experiences to build digital literacy and encourage responsible use of technology in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach basic computer operations, typing skills, MS Office tools (Word, Paint, PowerPoint), internet safety, and age-appropriate coding concepts.
Design engaging lesson plans in alignment with curriculum objectives and 21st-century learning skills.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and creativity.
Encourage hands-on activities, games, and educational tools to enhance digital learning.
Integrate technology in cross-curricular areas to support classroom learning.
Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of ICT lab equipment and software.
Organize and guide students for tech-related events, exhibitions, or competitions.
Collaborate with grade teachers and coordinators to support interdisciplinary projects.
Promote safe, ethical, and responsible use of technology among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
B.Ed. preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience teaching ICT/Computers at primary level.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with a child-centric approach to teaching.
Familiarity with EdTech tools, basic coding platforms (Scratch, Blockly, etc.), and multimedia teaching aids.
