Head Poultry Operations

Role Overview:

Srinivasa Farms Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced poultry professional to lead and manage our breeder farms and hatchery operations across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in poultry breeding, hatchery management, and logistics, combined with proven leadership in managing large teams and optimizing production efficiency.

A). Key Responsibilities:

Breeder Farm & Hatchery Management

• Oversee

  multiple breeder farms

  (Layer & Broiler) and ensure optimal flock health and productivity.
• Manage

  multiple hatcheries

  strategically located near commercial farms.
• Implement best practices in biosecurity, farm hygiene, and hatchery operations.

Production Planning & Logistics

•  Plan parent bird placements to align with commercial chick demand.
•  Optimize hatchery performance to ensure high-quality day-old chicks.
•  Manage logistics & cold chain for hatching eggs and day-old chicks across regions.
•  Team Leadership & Resource Management

Lead a team of farm managers and hatchery managers across multiple locations.

• Develop and implement workforce planning, including manpower & contract management.
• Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement.

Infrastructure & Commercial Operations

• Oversee farm and hatchery infrastructure planning and expansion.
• Ensure cost-effective operations by optimizing input costs, production efficiency, and supply chain.
• Drive cost of production management and associated commercial activities.

Regulatory Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols, animal welfare regulations, and industry standards.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to improve farm efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

B). Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years

  of experience in poultry breeding and hatchery operations.
• Expertise in

  breeder farm management, hatchery management, and poultry logistics

  .
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience handling large-scale operations.
• Ability to drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization in poultry production.
• Experience in working with
