Head of Design

Marvel Homes is a rapidly growing interior fit-out company based in Vadodara, known for its large scale manufacturing unit and successful completion of over 100 projects. As a forward-thinking startup, we are looking for a dedicated Design Head to join our dynamic team of professionals. As the Design Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from conceptual layouts to manufacturing drawings. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design and execution, you will demonstrate expertise in software like SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering tools such as Vray/Any. Your role will involve guiding the design team, ensuring material selection aligns with client expectations, and translating requirements into workable layouts and visuals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design flow, including item listing, 2D & layout drafts, ceiling/electrical plans, 3D design, and final rendering. - Supervise material selection based on approved 3D visuals. - Transform client needs into actionable layouts and visuals. - Verify site dimensions accurately in SketchUp for precise manufacturing drawings. - Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Cutlists for final execution and procurement. - Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level designers to maintain quality and meet timelines effectively. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Vray/Any rendering tools. - Strong grasp of technical design, space planning, and modular furniture detailing. - Exceptional communication and team leadership capabilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects with precision and composure.
