Role & Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient, inpatient, and labour-room care, ensuring evidence-based management of antenatal, intrapartum, and gynecologic cases.
• Perform elective and emergency gynecologic surgeries—including laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, and cystectomy—while upholding stringent safety protocols.
• Conduct high-resolution ultrasound, colposcopy, and infertility assessments, translating findings into clear treatment plans for patients and families.
• Collaborate with neonatology, anaesthesiology, and critical-care teams to optimise maternal–fetal outcomes and manage obstetric emergencies.
• Drive clinical governance: develop SOPs, audit infection control, and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and interns on best practices.
• Engage in patient education programs, community outreach, and CME sessions to elevate women’s health awareness and brand credibility.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• MBBS plus MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology; valid MCI/NMC registration.
• 5+ years post-PG experience in tertiary-care OBGYN, including independent surgical leadership.
• Proficiency in laparoscopic and open gynecologic procedures and obstetric emergency management (LSCS, PPH control, ectopic surgery).
• Competence in fetal ultrasound, CTG interpretation, and high-risk pregnancy counselling.
  

Preferred

• Fellowship or diploma in minimal-access surgery, reproductive medicine, or uro-gynaecology.
• Exposure to NABH/JCI quality frameworks and EMR-based clinical documentation.
