GST Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced GST Consultant to manage and support all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and advisory. The ideal candidate will assist clients or the internal finance team with GST registration, return filing, audits, and resolving GST-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle GST registration, amendments, and cancellations for clients or the company.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
• Reconcile GST input credit with purchase records and books of accounts.
• Provide guidance on GST laws, notifications, and compliance requirements.
• Represent clients in GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Advise on GST implications in business transactions and contracts.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to GST filings.
• Stay updated with changes in GST rules, rates, and government notifications.

Key Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of GST laws and compliance processes
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software (Tally, Zoho, ClearTax, etc.)
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to handle multiple clients or projects efficiently
• Attention to detail and accuracy in filings

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Commerce / B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in GST compliance or tax consultancy
• CA/CS/CMA-qualified candidates preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
