Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Ledger Specialist located in the Greater Chennai Area. The General Ledger Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day general ledger activities. Tasks include maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and financial reports. Additionally, the role will involve ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborating with internal teams for financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Journal Entry preparation
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance
• Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or relevant certification is a plus
