Job Description

Technical skills required: Understanding of telecom fundamentals for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G & IoT networks Solid Network Planning, Dimensioning and Design exposure - Familiar and up to date with latest guidelines, engineering rules on how to plan & dimension various fiber networks such as FTTx, core, aggregate, access, NLD network. Good knowledge of Performance Measurement tools such as OTDR, LSPM etc. Expert in Fixed Access Systems: xPON, xDSL and FTTx. Exposure to technologies like SDH, DWDM, xDSL, & GPON etc. Experience with telecom network topology and customer connectivity technology. Hands on experience on NMS / EMS. Capability of preparing/validating BoQ, HLD & LLD of ISP & OSP networks. Hand-on experience on telecom networks including OSP and ISP elements. Having knowledge of various protocols such as IPV6 , MPLS ,FTP, ETHERNET , TCPIP etc. Adept in providing Back-end product support and technical support. Exposure to build, design, troubleshooting for large deployments. Exposure to GIS tools such as Mapinfo, ArcGIS, Google Earth etc. Experience in RFP preparation and vendor RFP response evaluation. Project management & implementation support of telecom infrastructure during the project life cycle to ensure that product meets its technical & quality requirements. R ould possess strong execution & problem-solving skills. Desired profile: Telecom engineers with experience in ISP & OSP networks Minimum 8 years of Telecom Fiber network O&M/planning experience in Tier 1 operators, ISPs and/or with OEMs (such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei etc) Preferred certification: Not Applicable High energy individual possessing excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
