POSITION STATEMENT: Features Writer – Lifestyle Asia India Reports to - Managing Editor, Lifestyle Asia India Location - Gurugram About the Role Lifestyle Asia India is looking for a passionate and creative Features Writer to contribute to our growing digital presence. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for trends, a strong understanding of luxury, fashion, beauty, culture, dining, and lifestyle, and the ability to craft compelling, social-first, and video-friendly content. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in India’s luxury and lifestyle scene, has a flair for storytelling, and understands what makes content viral across Instagram, YouTube, and the web. Key Responsibilities Editorial & Digital Content Creation Research and write engaging features, listicles, and trend-driven stories across fashion, beauty, entertainment, food, travel, and luxury lifestyle. Create snackable, SEO-optimised digital content that drives engagement on the website and social media platforms. Adapt content for multiple formats – articles, reels, short-form videos, and carousels. Video & Social Media-First Writing Pitch, script, and assist in video content production for Lifestyle Asia India’s social and digital channels. Collaborate with the video and social teams to create visually engaging, story-driven content that aligns with trending formats. On-camera confidence is a plus, with opportunities to host or contribute to video series, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. Trend Spotting & Industry Coverage Stay ahead of luxury lifestyle trends, celebrity culture, and pop culture moments to drive real-time content creation. Cover key industry events, brand launches, and red-carpet moments, ensuring first-mover advantage in lifestyle reporting. Brand & Talent Collaboration Work with PR agencies, luxury brands, and influencers to secure exclusive interviews, product launches, and brand features. Represent Lifestyle Asia India at select media events, networking with industry leaders, designers, and tastemakers. Experience · 1-2 years of experience in lifestyle journalism, digital media, or social-first content creation. · Strong writing and research skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for digital audiences. · Interest in luxury, fashion, beauty, pop culture, and entertainment trends. · Familiarity with SEO, social media algorithms, and video content formats. · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom with quick turnarounds. · Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or video editing tools is a plus.
