Join EY and contribute to building a better working world. As an Assurance Manager/SM in the fintech sector at EY, you will play a pivotal role as the primary contact from GDS Assurance in India. You will collaborate with EY's global client serving assurance teams, overseeing engagements, executing complex accounting and assurance procedures, conducting second level reviews, communicating with internal stakeholders and clients, and managing operations which include budgeting, team supervision, and ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. The opportunity presented involves leading large teams working on intricate global engagements. You will have the chance to work with team members across various locations in India and collaborate with EY Assurance engagement teams worldwide, spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. This role will allow you to develop expertise in international accounting and assurance principles and practices. Your Key Responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of Private engagements or co-leading listed engagements, supervising a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates. Ensuring timely and high-quality work delivery following EY's Global Assurance Audit methodology, maintaining quality standards, and meeting EY global engagement teams" expectations. Developing and sustaining productive relationships with EY global engagement team executives, as well as client personnel. Implementing EY's Risk Management procedures into the engagement teams" work and facilitating the transition of new engagements and services to GDS Assurance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving operational KPIs, demonstrating professionalism and clarity in communication when dealing with GDS and Global engagement teams and clients, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. To qualify for this role, you must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance/accounting. Additionally, experience in mid-tier or top-tier accounting firms focused on Assurance services or larger companies within a Shared Service Environment is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft tools, ACCA/CPA qualification, and an interest in global business trends and technological advancements will be beneficial.
