Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional specialties such as North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, Punjabi, and/or coastal dishes. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with consistent taste and presentation. Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items based on customer preferences. Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely, clean, and hygienic manner. Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure stock rotation. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as required. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with management on menu planning and costing. Requirements: Proven experience as an Indian Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional cuisines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders efficiently. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food costing, and portion control. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent experience is a plus. Good communication and team management skills.
