Job Title: English & Social Studies (SST) Teacher – Grades 6 to 10

Experience: Minimum 2 years
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

Innovera School is seeking a passionate and dedicated English and Social Studies Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 10. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a student-centered teaching approach. We're looking for educators who are enthusiastic, friendly, and able to create an engaging and well-managed classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English and Social Studies (SST) as per the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Use diverse teaching strategies and tools to cater to varied learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly; provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain proper discipline and classroom management.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• TGT or PGT in English/Social Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
• Friendly, patient, and engaging with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CBSE/ICSE curriculum.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital platforms.
• Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities and school development initiatives.
