Electrical Technician

1. Installation & Setup

• Install electrical systems, wiring, and equipment based on technical drawings or blueprints.
• Set up panels, switches, control systems, and related electrical hardware.

2. Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems and machinery.
• Identify faults and carry out repairs or replacements as needed.
• Ensure minimal downtime in operations through preventive maintenance.

3. Testing & Inspection

• Conduct electrical testing using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and continuity testers.
• Inspect systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

4. Wiring & Panel Work

• Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and circuit schematics.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Follow national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IS standards).
• Ensure all work is done safely using proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.

6. Documentation

• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, testing reports, and material usage.
• Prepare reports for supervisors or maintenance heads.

7. Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with engineers, production teams, and vendors for system integration.
• Assist in installation of automation equipment, motors, and drives (VFDs, PLCs if applicable).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,953.29 per month

Experience:

• Electrical engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
