Electrical Technical Associate – Substation Visits & Sales Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a technically skilled Electrical Technician/Associate based in Kolkata, with strong experience in working at substations and utility sites, to support our team in sales and technical assessment of transformer-related instruments and control products.

The role is part-time / Full time and primarily field-oriented, involving regular substation visits in and around Kolkata, Jharkhand , Bihar, Orissa to interact with engineers, understand site needs, and assist in product positioning.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular visits to power substations and utility sites.
• Perform technical assessments for products such as:
• WTI/OTI (Winding/Oil Temperature Indicators)
• Electrical Control Instruments & Meters
• Protective Relays, Breathers, PRDs, etc.
• Coordinate with engineers at site to understand requirements and assist in recommending suitable products.
• Support the sales team with technical insights and feedback from the ground.
• Report observations and potential opportunities from site visits.

Candidate Requirements:

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or relevant field.
• 3–4 years of field experience in substations, testing & commissioning, or transformer yard maintenance.
• Prior experience in working with utilities or EPCs is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of transformer auxiliary equipment and electrical instrumentation.
• Must be comfortable traveling regularly to various substation sites in and around Kolkata.
• Should be able to communicate technical points effectively with site personnel.

Engagement & Compensation:

• This is a part/full-time, project-based assignment.
• Compensation will be based on the scope of work and site visits.
• Travel allowances and necessary support will be provided.

Pay: ₹11,284.78 - ₹24,486.81 per month
