Job summary

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing billing processes for our construction projects, ensuring all charges are accurate and in compliance with contract terms. The role requires a keen eye for detail and an ability to work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that financial data reflects the actual work completed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be well-versed in industry-specific billing software.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Management: Oversee and manage the entire billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment, for various stages of construction projects.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to validate the completion stage and ensure that billing matches project progress.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure all billing activities adhere to contractual obligations and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all billing activities, including amendments and revisions to the billing procedures.
• Client Communication: Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Software Proficiency: MS-Office, AutoCAD

Key Requirements

• Experience: 3-8 years of experience in billing engineering within the industrial, real estate, or residential sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in billing and financial reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project data and financial records to improve billing practices.
