EHS/ Safety Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Implementation:

  Plan and implement various OHS management systems, including work permit systems, incident reporting, and investigation protocols.

• Workplace Safety Oversight:

  Conduct daily safety and health observations at the workplace. Perform regular safety surveys, inspections, Investigate, analyze, and report accidents and near-miss incidents and audits, including safety walks

• Safety Committees & Meetings:

  Organize and conduct regular safety committee meetings, maintain records, track action items, and circulate minutes to all relevant personnel.

• Emergency Preparedness:

  Develop and execute emergency preparedness plans, including conducting mock drills and ensuring readiness for emergencies.

• T&D/ Prepare:

  Conduct regular safety training sessions & prepare firefighting, accident prevention, behavior-based safety (BBS), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), hazard identification (HIRA), job safety analysis (JSA), electrical safety, and legal compliance.

• PPE Management:

  Ensure the provision and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across departments based on identified hazards.

• Emergency Equipment Monitoring:

  Maintain and monitor emergency preparedness equipment, including fire hydrants, fire pumps, fire extinguishers, MCB, SCABA, and other fire-fighting equipment.

• Compliance Monitoring:

  Oversee the operation and maintenance of the STP, ground water, record etc., ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
