DM / AM - Land Acquisition For Mines & Plant (2 Positions)

Job Purpose:

To oversee and lead all external liaisoning activities with Government Departments, Regulatory Authorities, and local bodies for mining and plant operations. Ensure timely approvals, statutory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and smooth coordination between internal teams and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for all regulatory matters related to mining leases / plant, environmental clearances, forest clearance, land acquisition, and other statutory approvals.
• Liaise with government departments such as MoEFCC, DGMS, IBM, State Pollution Control Boards, Forest Department, Revenue Department, District Administration, IDCO etc.
• Ensure timely renewal of leases, licenses, NOCs, and consents required for uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate with legal and land teams for smooth land acquisition and compensation disbursement.
• Maintain strong relations with local authorities, landowners, and village-level representatives to resolve disputes or issues.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key government officials and local influencers.
• Address local community concerns, engage with local stake holders and ensure local support for projects/Mines.
• Coordinate with legal teams for representation in legal forums or to handle disputes.
• Keep management updated on the status of various permits and developments in the regulatory landscape.
