Digital Rights Specialist, YouTube

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Digital Rights Specialist with expertise in YouTube’s rights management tools to ensure our content is properly protected, monetized, and managed across the platform. This individual will be responsible for identifying unauthorized use of content, maintaining YouTube CMS policies, handling takedowns, and ensuring compliance with copyright regulations and platform policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate and manage YouTube’s Content ID and Rights Management System on behalf of our organization or clients.

Monitor and enforce content ownership, including claiming, blocking, and monetization settings.

Track and investigate potential copyright infringements or unauthorized uploads.

Manage disputes, counterclaims, takedown notices, and DMCA requests in a timely and compliant manner.

Collaborate with legal, content, and platform teams to resolve rights issues and optimize digital rights strategy.

Maintain accurate metadata and asset ownership records within YouTube’s CMS.

Analyze rights performance data to report on content claims, revenue impact, and enforcement effectiveness.

Stay updated on YouTube policy changes, copyright law developments, and digital rights best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in digital rights, content protection, or YouTube CMS operations.

Proficiency in YouTube Content ID, CMS tools, and copyright enforcement mechanisms.

YouTube Certified (Rights Management track)

Experience working with record labels, studios, MCNs, or media distributors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹67,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
