1. Die Design & Development

A person should be the only Aluminium die casting company only

Location Ludhiana

Salary 60 to 70k per month

Design aluminium die casting molds/dies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX).

Create 3D models and 2D drawings for dies, cores, cavities, sliders, cooling systems, and ejector mechanisms.

Design gating, runner, overflow, and venting systems for optimal metal flow and solidification

2. Feasibility & DFM Analysis

Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and mold flow simulations (using MAGMASOFT, Flow-3D, etc.).

Assess product geometry for potential die casting issues such as porosity, warping, or incomplete fill.

3. Project Coordination

Collaborate with product designers, toolmakers, and production teams to meet project timelines and technical requirements.

Coordinate with vendors or in-house tool rooms for die manufacturing and trials.

4. Die Modification & Optimization

Analyze trial results, identify defects, and suggest die design modifications.

Work on continuous improvement of die performance (e.g., cycle time reduction, better cooling, wear resistance).

5. Documentation & Standards

Maintain proper technical documentation: design files, BOMs, change notes, and inspection reports.

Follow relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, NADCA) for die design and safety.

6. Technical Support

Provide technical assistance during die trials, production startup, and troubleshooting.

Work closely with the maintenance team for die repair and preventive maintenance plans.

Skills & Tools Often Required:

CAD software: SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, AutoCAD

Simulation tools: MAGMASOFT, AnyCasting, ProCAST

Knowledge of: Metallurgy, thermal expansion, shrinkage, die materials (H13, etc.), ejector and slider mechanim
