Design Engineer

The role of a Design Engineer at our company requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software, focusing on 3D modeling, surface parts, sheet metal components, and assemblies. Ideally, candidates should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the field. It is essential for the individual to come from a Mechanical background and have a thorough understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance). Familiarity with Design History File (DHF) documentation and quality standards is considered an added advantage. The responsibilities of a Design Engineer include independently preparing in-process drawings, final product drawings, and assembly drawings. A basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication is preferred. The candidate should have a good grasp of material selection, mechanical properties, and the ability to perform basic tolerance analysis and fit studies. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are crucial for this role. Furthermore, the Design Engineer should demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication skills are necessary to coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and suppliers. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently is also a key requirement. Interested candidates with 1-3 years of experience and a background in B.E Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical are encouraged to apply.
