Is responsible for the entire Production department of the plant. Will lead the Production team consisting of Assistant Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Operators, Helpers and Trainees. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed and complex sheet metal designs for various components and enclosures of generator sets. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing Creo to develop precise 3D models of sheet metal parts, including enclosures, brackets, panels, and structural elements. You will be proficient in creating flat patterns, managing bend allowances, and designing features suitable for sheet metal fabrication processes such as laser cutting, punching, and bending. This position requires a deep understanding of sheet metal manufacturing techniques to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and assembly. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal components within the overall genset assembly. Responsible for quality and timely delivery of own work including budget control. Participate and contribute to project design reviews and discussions. Qualifications Diploma, Civil Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed engineering college or technical institute. Minimum 5 years of detailing/drafting experience. Hands on experience of modelling and drafting with AutoCAD, Revit and/or Tekla Experience in Revit is mandatory. Experience in precast detailing & steel shop drawings is preferred. Europe and particular Sweden project experience is required. Design experience with RC structures, steel structures, steel connection design, and timber structures, as well as knowledge of Eurocodes, is preferred. Design experience with prestressed systems/elements and precast concrete is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English are required.
