Deputy Manager / Manager - Programs

We are hiring for a aerospace and defense industry for Narasapura, Karnataka region.

Position Overview

We are looking for a results-oriented and technically skilled Deputy Manager / Manager Programs to lead the execution and delivery of complex aerospace projects. This role requires strong leadership, project management acumen, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Location: Narasapura, Karnataka

Experience Required: 812 Years

Educational Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering

Industry Preference: Aerospace

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and coordination across cross-functional teams for the timely delivery of project deliverables.

Develop and maintain operational baselines and controls, including project scope, schedule, cost, and change management.

Assess risks and propose solutions to mitigate operational challenges throughout the program lifecycle.

Act as the single point of contact for project execution, ensuring deliverables meet budget and timeline expectations.

Manage program reporting including schedule tracking, variance analysis, and financial updates.

Serve as the liaison between internal departments and external customers, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and priorities.

Drive revenue achievement and manage budgets across customer programs to support top-line business goals.

Lead program readiness audits and identify process or execution bottlenecks.

Respond to customer RFQs/RFIs by coordinating proposals and estimations with the engineering team.

Present capital budgets and project estimates to leadership and secure necessary approvals.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proven experience in managing Greenfield projects and fixed-price contracts.

Strong understanding of program risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance tracking.

Familiarity with engineering estimations, business case development, and capital budgeting.

Proficient in SAP PP & MM modules.

Deep knowledge of aerospace industry standards, including AS9100, Nadcap, and other customer-specific requirements.

Excellent decision-making, time management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management abilities with experience presenting to top management and engaging customers directly.
