Job Description

Data Engineer

Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Develop data pipelines, automate data collection and processing tasks.
Perform data profiling, database performance tuning, and optimization.
Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
Perform data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
Build and maintain cloud-based data systems and infrastructure.
Integrate and manage search engines like Elasticsearch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
Create dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau.
Apply ensemble modeling techniques to improve model performance.

Technical Skills:

Strong experience in NoSQL technologies: MongoDB, Couchbase, PIG, DynamoDB, Azure Table.
Familiarity with search engine technologies like
Elasticsearch
.
Scripting experience in
Python
or
Ruby
; experience with
Ruby on Rails
framework.
Expertise in database profiling and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with
Amazon AWS Stack
and cloud systems.
Knowledge of machine learning, data modeling, and analytics.

Soft Skills:

Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear manner.
Strong team management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Prior experience working in a cloud-based data environment.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
