Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and process credit applications, including housing loan and affordable housing.
Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk analyses to determine client creditworthiness.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless credit processing and disbursement.
Monitor and report on credit portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize credit quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices in credit management.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of credit principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in housing loan and affordable housing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationship building with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency in credit software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing systems.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of credit processing and disbursement.
