Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Credit Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in the BFSI industry, preferably with a background in inclusive banking, mortgages, and credit.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and process credit applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk analyses to determine client creditworthiness.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with credit lending.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in credit management and analysis.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of credit-related data and metrics.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of credit principles, practices, and regulations, including mortgage and inclusive banking.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in credit software and systems, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with diverse client groups, including those from underprivileged communities, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
