Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in credit underwriting, risk management, and customer relationship building.

Roles and Responsibility

Review and assess complex loan applications within defined guidelines.

Conduct personal discussions with customers to establish creditworthiness and ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification.

Assess income to obligation ratios and calculate ratios to determine loan performance.

Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operations-related MIS and regularly report the same.

Build and facilitate effective relationships with third parties to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Undertake critical review of credit proposals to identify industry, business, financial, management, and facility structure risks.

Ensure collateral and other credit risk mitigation are in place to support approving authority decisions on credit proposals.

Enable quick turnaround time of credit lending proposals in close liaison with the sales team.

Undertake ongoing review of credit exposures to maintain bankability and facilitate critical review and documentation of proposals while monitoring client & collateral creditworthiness from pre-sanction to post-disbursement, undertaking risk mitigation steps as needed while ensuring adherence to legal & documentation norms & policies.

Manage the credit underwriting function of the branch and facilitate quick turnaround of credit lending proposals in close liaison with local credit analysts and sales team.

Job

Post Graduate or Graduate in any discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, risk management, or a related field.

Possess strong knowledge of credit underwriting principles, practices, and procedures.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Experience in managing credit exposures and ensuring adherence to legal & documentation norms & policies is necessary.
