Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious

Crane Operator

to operate overhead, mobile, or tower cranes used to lift, move, position, or place machinery, materials, and other large objects. The ideal candidate will ensure safe crane operations in compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate cranes (overhead, mobile, tower, or gantry) to lift, move, and position materials as per instructions.
Inspect crane equipment and attachments daily to ensure safe operation.
Work with riggers and signalers to safely lift and place loads.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Perform minor maintenance and report major issues to the maintenance team.
Monitor load weights and ensure they are within crane limits.
Record lifting activities and maintain logbooks as per company policy.
Coordinate with site supervisors to meet operational timelines.
Operate cranes in confined spaces or high-risk areas with care and precision.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Crane Operator License or Certification (as per local/regional regulations).
0–2 years of experience operating cranes in an industrial or construction setting.
Good knowledge of crane operation principles and load calculations.
Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, IS codes).
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather or site conditions.
