Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Manager Sr. Manager Purchase to lead and oversee the procurement function for plastic components and raw materials, specifically within the automotive industry . Conduct detailed cost analysis and benchmarking to support negotiations. Quality & Compliance: Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure procurement meets company and regulatory standards. Ensure adherence to ISO/TS standards and maintain relevant documentation for audits. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Design, Quality, and R&D teams to understand material requirements and specifications. Support NPD (New Product Development) projects with timely sourcing and supplier alignment. Team Leadership & Reporting: Lead a team of buyers/purchase executives, ensuring team development and performance. Report key procurement KPIs and analytics to senior management on a monthly/quarterly basis. Required Skills & Competencies: Deep domain knowledge of plastics, polymers, injection molding components , and suppliers. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Oracle similar). Knowledge of global sourcing, customs, and import/export procedures is a plus. High integrity and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Engineering Science (preferably in Polymer, Chemical, or Mechanical streams). MBA PG Diploma in Supply Chain or Materials Management will be preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile: 10-15 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive plastics industry .
