Computer Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Computer Operators to support our Civil Engineering firm with day-to-day documentation, data entry, and MS Office-based tasks. The ideal candidates should have strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word, a disciplined approach to administrative tasks, and the ability to handle technical documents relevant to construction/civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry and management of project records, reports, and documents.
• Prepare letters, invoices, work progress reports, and other office documentation.
• Handle file management – both physical and digital.
• Work closely with civil engineers and site staff to maintain accurate documentation.
• Update and maintain Excel sheets for project tracking, material logs, or billing.
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Print, scan, and manage document filing as per project or company standards.
• Support other administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (VLOOKUP, formatting, basic formulas).
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM (preferred).
• Good understanding of documentation formats used in construction industry.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multitasking and work independently under minimal supervision.
