Job Description

Job Summary:

The Collection Executive is responsible for ensuring timely collection of payments from clients/customers. The role involves communicating with clients, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact customers to follow up on outstanding invoices.
Maintain records of collection activities and update the internal database.
Resolve customer queries related to billing and payments.
Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to reconcile accounts.
Generate reports on collection status and delinquent accounts.
Negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Escalate problematic accounts to the Collection Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role (1–3 years preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of accounting and billing procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
