Civil QA/QC Engineer

Experience - 3 to 5 years

We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Quality Engineer to ensure quality in construction works, materials, and processes. The role involves regular inspections, test supervision, documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities for quality assurance.
• Verify and approve construction materials and workmanship.
• Ensure all work complies with the approved construction drawings and relevant standards.
• Monitor material and concrete testing (slump test, cube test, etc.) and maintain test reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients for quality-related issues.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and project-specific quality management systems.
• Promote safety and cleanliness on site along with quality.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of civil construction standards and testing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with IS codes, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mogappair West, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• QA/QC: 3 years (Preferred)
