Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Designer to join our team for an ongoing elevated metro rail / major infrastructure bridge project in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design/drafting, with at least 2 years in a similar role specifically on elevated metro rail or large-scale infrastructure bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop detailed civil and structural drawings such as general arrangement drawings (GADs), plans, sections, elevations, and reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP teams for multi-disciplinary drawing integration.
• Interpret design inputs from engineering teams and translate them into accurate construction drawings.
• Support design team during design reviews and incorporate necessary changes promptly.
• Maintain version control and proper documentation of drawings as per project standards.
• Ensure drawings meet relevant codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist project engineers and site teams with technical clarification and updates.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in civil drafting/design.
• Minimum 2 years experience specifically in elevated metro rail or major infrastructure bridge projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D and Revit/MicroStation knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with civil and structural detailing standards.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
