With over 5000 employees, the subsidiary is divided into Corporate Technology India, Siemens Corporate Finance and Controlling, Global Shared Services, and Siemens Management Consulting, located in Balewadi High Street, Pune. As a CAD Engineer, you will be meeting the need for smart-mobility solutions, making the lives of travelers easier and more enjoyable through the development of new, intelligent mobility solutions. Your tasks will be exciting and future-oriented, including analyzing and preparing Architectural drawings, Combined Service Drawings (CSDs), and Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), designing cable containment solutions, developing fresh drawings/designs, supporting the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), collaborating with the site team for installation, conducting GAP analysis, developing 2D and 3D models, interpreting technical specifications, preparing assembly and fabrication drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing tolerance analysis, conducting design reviews, maintaining CAD libraries, supporting prototype development, ensuring standards compliance, and staying updated with advancements in CAD software and engineering design practices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Design Engineering or a related field, with at least 5+ years of proven experience in a CAD engineering role. Proficiency in one or more CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or Revit is required. You should have an understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines, and good communication and teamwork skills. This role is based in Pune and is an Individual contributor role, with possible travel requirements to other locations within India and outside.
