Learn more about Analytics and Information Management Practice Work you will do The primary role of practitioners is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. To do this, must perform the following activities within the firm: 3 - 9 Years of work experience with at least one project implementation leveraging Snowflake either migration from traditional DWHs or a fresh implementation. Be an integral part of large-scale client business development and delivery engagements Play an architect role to architect and design the end to end process for the data integration In depth knowledge of Snowflake Data Load processes Data Loading, Bulk Loading, Snowpipe, WebInterface, Snowsight, Staged Files, Transforming Data During Load etc In depth knowledge on Snowflake UnLoad Data Processes to S3, Azure In depth knowledge of Snowflake Architecture Virtual Warehouse, Monitoring Warehouse, Table Structures, Views, Materialized Views, Cloning, Hierarchical Data etc Knowledge on Integration (ETL) and Data Ingestion, Data Conversion, and Data Migration Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence and Agile practices is key Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience Proven industry experience with large scale distributed systems Strong programming experience in OOP and building services using back end technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate) In depth knowledge of SQL/No-SQL and database technologies ( Azure SQL, CosmosDB etc) Duties (Skill Set): Design, Develop, prototype and build technology-driven product solutions that will serve the current and future needs of ecommerce using Core & Advance Java / J2EE, Spring & Hibernate framework, Tomcat and jBoss application servers. Working on SQL/No-SQL database technologies such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Elastic Search. Working with Async Message processing systems like Kafka to process the messages and integrate across systems. Designing and building highly scalable & multi-tenant solutions by doing capacity planning, system performance tuning & analysis . Building, deploying and managing micro-services using cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Docker Framework. Designing & developing multi-thread applications capable of handling millions of messages using Java platforms. B.E./B. Tech/MS/MCA in Computer Science or related technical field Minimum 4 years of object-oriented programming experience in Java. Excellent computer systems fundamentals, DS/Algorithms and problem solving skills. Hands-on experience in building web based Java EE services/applications and Kafka, RESTful Web-Services, Spring, Hibernate, Splunk, Caching. Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. Large scale distributed services experience, including scalability and fault tolerance. Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS Exposure to build, CI/CD & deployment pipelines and related technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins etc. A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools. Experience in systems design and distributed systems. Exposure to SQL/NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, Elastic, Mongo etc. Responsibilities include: Primarily responsible for delivering high quality code for the software designs catering to product requirements in a fast-paced agile scrum sprint Participate in team of application engineers, architect and product visionaries to design, prototype and build technology-driven products that will serve the current and future needs of ecommerce Proactively learn key processes, relationships, and underlying business requirements. Implement software as per the design, generate test cases, automate integration tests, perform code reviews and write feature documentation for scalable software solutions Build core platform capabilities with multi-tenancy support to enable different international market. Customer focused - Build robust platform with focus on operational excellence, responsible for production environment health as first priority, enabling automated monitoring and alerting and ensuring close to 100% uptime.
