Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the IT Sales & Services domain, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue for the organization. With 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, your responsibilities will revolve around identifying and targeting potential clients for custom software development and IT staffing solutions. Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers across various verticals will be essential, including CXOs, IT Heads, and Procurement Managers. Understanding the pain points of clients and offering tailored technology and staffing solutions will be a key part of your role. You will be required to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets, owning the sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure. Regularly forecasting revenue, tracking performance metrics, and reporting to leadership will be crucial for success in this role. Managing bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Clutch, and Fiverr will be a part of your daily tasks, along with responding to RFPs/RFIs and collaborating with presales and tech teams to create well-structured proposals. Optimizing profiles and bidding strategies to improve conversion rates will be essential for maximizing business opportunities. Collaborating closely with delivery, project management, and recruitment teams to align offerings with market needs will be necessary. Additionally, you will assist in onboarding new clients and ensure a smooth handover to delivery teams. Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies will be crucial in identifying new market opportunities and channels for growth. Preferred qualifications include experience working with global clients and a strong understanding of IT project lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and staffing models. A Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields is required for this role.
