Primary Goal: To market and place bench consultants (usually W2, H1B, GC, or OPT candidates) with end clients, implementation partners, or through vendor networks, ensuring optimal project engagement and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: Bench Candidate Marketing: Promote available consultants (on the bench) to potential clients, vendors, or implementation partners. Highlight their technical strengths and project experience. Coordinate with recruiters and technical teams to gather consultant profiles. Business Development: Develop relationships with direct clients , tier-1 vendors , and implementation partners . Identify new business opportunities and client requirements. Negotiate rates and terms to place consultants quickly. Lead Generation & Networking: Use platforms like LinkedIn , Dice , Monster , Indeed , and job boards for market intelligence. Generate leads via cold calling, emails, and client outreach. Attend tech and staffing networking events when possible. Account Management: Maintain client and vendor relationships. Ensure the successful onboarding of consultants and handle client concerns. Manage contract renewals and extensions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and bench consultants to understand technical capabilities. Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback loops.
