The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM system, Mobile Apps & other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.  POSITION NAME   associate software engineer

 SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:  
This position is a junior developer role and will be part of the development team. Candidate need to be passionate to learn and work on technical areas mentioned in below sections.    
 Job description 
  • Develop, and support web applications, solutions as per business requirements.
  • Maintain, modify, optimize and extend existing solutions as a part of support and performance optimization projects.
  • Working together with other team members (BA/Dev/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
  • Ensuring good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  •  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 
     EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • 0 to 1 years - Candidate has worked or willing to work in software development, predominenly on server side development in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaboration with Software Architect(s) and other technical groups within Eurofins (Includes design, documentation, prototyping and validation)
  • Learn/Understanding and Usage of Azure DevOps, GIT is needed

  •  TECHNICAL S 
  • Working knowledge in HTML, CSS, Angular 15, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap
  • Server-side development knowledge - .NET 6.0, ASP.NET Core 6.0, C# 11.0
  • Knowledge of SQL Queries
  • Knowledge of application development using .NET Core, C#, EF Core
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
  • Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems
  • Must be a quick learner

  •  PERSONAL S 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal/written Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills. And can explain complex functional/technical concepts with ease (via diagrams, flowcharts etc.,).
  • Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship skills
  • Candidate to have get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality.
  • Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodologies will be advantage.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

  •  TRAVEL  Ready to travel to Europe (5 - 10%), if project demands.
     About the Project 
    ARP Tool is a Human Resource Solution developed and maintenaned for GSC HR which will cater to the unique Annual Review Process (ARP) of Eurofins for Perfornance Review of Leaders/Employees. This is green-field in-house software development project using state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies. Application is in production for past 5 years and new additional functionality/improvements are being added. Major focus areas are Security "“ as application data is sensitive, Performance "“ as thousands of users use the application during peak period, Complex business rules "“ bonus calculations, Approval workflows with different roles, UI/UX "“ intuitiveness etc., The objective of the Annual Review Process is to give the opportunity to both Assessed KEL and Assessor to reflect on past performance, to give tools to improve future performance, to reflect on short- and long-term aspirations, and ultimately to ensure that Eurofins has strong teams in place ready to face current and future business demands. Qualifications 
     QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Engineering Degree in Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor"™s degree with the relevant experience.
