Job Title: Associate Professor - B. Tech

Department: Universal Ai & Future Technologies School (UAi-FTS)

Reports to: Professor and Dean - Universal Ai & Future Technologies School (UAi-FTS)

Job Summary:

The position of Associate Professor of Business Analytics at Universal AI University is a key role responsible for advancing academic excellence, conducting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the development of Business Analytics programs. This role plays a significant part in shaping the future of data science and analytics education while fostering a culture of innovation and research within the university.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

Develop, deliver, and continually enhance undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics.

Create and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.

Incorporate the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies into the curriculum.

Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Research and Scholarship:

Pursue active research in Business Analytics, with a strong focus on publishing high-impact research papers in reputable journals.

Secure external research grants and collaborate with colleagues on multidisciplinary research projects.

Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and developments in Business Analytics.

Student Engagement:

Mentor and advise students on academic, research, and career matters.

Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, fostering a research-oriented mindset among students.

Encourage and support student involvement in relevant extracurricular activities.

Service and Institutional Contribution:

Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other service activities.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the School of Data Science and Analytics programs.

Support and advance the mission and values of Universal AI University.

Professional Development:

Engage in professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and networking events.

Maintain active memberships in relevant academic and professional organizations.

Stay informed about the latest developments in Business Analytics and related fields.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field.

A strong record of research and publication in Business Analytics.

Previous experience in teaching and mentoring students at the university level is preferred.

Proficiency in industry-standard tools, software, and programming languages used in Business Analytics.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

A deep commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and research.
