Assistant Merchandiser for Home Furnishing

The role involves engaging in internal and external communication with buyers, suppliers, factory owners, and fabric manufacturers. Monitoring production progress and updating internal tracking sheets are essential responsibilities. It is important to follow up on raw material sourcing to prevent delays and coordinate with production and sourcing teams for seamless order execution. Regular communication with suppliers, factories, and vendors is required to provide production updates and address any issues or delays promptly. Collaborating with QC teams for inline and final inspections is crucial to ensure quality standards and buyer requirements are met at each stage. Assisting in resolving operational problems at the vendor level and arranging documentation and sample submissions for quality checks are part of the job scope. Additionally, preparing purchase orders, taking responsibility for inspections, and having experience in bedsheets, blankets, comforters, cushions, and pillows are essential.
