Area Sales Manager

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Wall Textures, Waterproofing & Paints
Location: Ahmedabad
Industry: Building Materials / Construction Chemicals / Paints
Experience Required: 4–10 years in B2B or project-based sales (preferably in textures, paints, or waterproofing)
Qualification: Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred)
Reporting to: Regional Sales Head / Zonal Manager

Target: Monthly Target of 25 lacs

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:

Identify and acquire new clients including builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, and applicators across Pune and surrounding regions.

• Channel Management:

Develop and manage a strong dealer and distributor network for retail product flow. Ensure regular follow-up and product movement.

• Project Sales:

Drive project-based sales by coordinating with construction sites, consultants, and project procurement teams for timely order closures.

• Revenue Generation:

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and territory mapping.

• Market Intelligence:

Track competitors, pricing, and new product launches. Suggest changes or promotions to stay competitive.

• Client Servicing:

Handle customer queries, provide product demos, conduct site visits, and ensure client satisfaction for repeat business.

• Reporting & MIS:

Maintain detailed sales reports, lead status, funnel management, and timely reporting to management.

• Training & Promotion:

Conduct product knowledge sessions for dealers, applicators, and project stakeholders. Support in promotional campaigns and exhibitions.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong network in the construction/architectural ecosystem in Pune
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Goal-oriented with the ability to handle pressure and deadlines
• Familiarity with paint textures, emulsions, and construction site workflow
• Basic knowledge of CRM and Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
