Area Marketing Manager

Godrej Agrovet Limited is looking for a dynamic Area Marketing Manager for the Gujarat and Western Maharashtra region to join our Crop Protection Business team! The Area Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at driving growth and brand awareness within the agriculture industry. This role focuses on collaborating with farmers, agricultural stakeholders, and sales teams to promote the companys products and services. The manager will oversee field-based marketing activities, organize events, conduct market research, and work closely with the sales team to achieve regional or national sales goals. Qualifications: B.Sc (Agri) / M.Sc (Agri) / Master of Agri Business Management 5-10 years of experience in marketing or sales, ideally within the agriculture sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct field marketing activities including product demonstrations, farmer meetings, and trade shows. 2. Collaborate with the sales team to identify high-potential customers and generate leads through marketing initiatives. 3. Provide insights into customer preferences, industry challenges, and market opportunities to guide marketing and sales strategies. 4. Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve results. 5. Manage the field marketing budget for regional initiatives. 6. Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Digital Marketing, to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives. 7. Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of field marketing activities and their contribution to sales goals. 8. Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote agricultural products, services, and solutions.
