Application Development Lead Analyst

Position Overview

In this role, you will provide hands-on software engineering and production support for one of our enterprise Finance Technology teams. You will be working on enterprise financial and accounting systems critical to the operational success of Evernorth Health Services, US Employer, and International business segments within The Cigna Group. The focus of the work will be to ensure the operational stability of our Tableau & Oracle BI Analytics application suite.

This is a hands-on position with visibility to the highest levels of Finance Technology management who are motivated to see the successful results of our efforts. The role focuses on enabling Cignas financial transformation to the cloud using the latest technologies and development techniques within the Oracle cloud infrastructure stack, including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architecting the Tableau Finance Reporting project solution.
• Architecting BI Automation, deployment and migration using DevOps tools.
• Perform proof-of-concepts and create simulations to prove out solutions.
• Design the Functional specifications for technology production support and project teams.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging and delivering reporting applications.
• Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualization to support business decision-making.
• Create, publish and maintain the corporate information architecture and a roadmap for its future development.
• Interpret complex data sets, identity trends and generate actionable insights to address business challenges.
• Monitor and provide technical optimize suggestion for Tableau dashboard performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Stay updated on Tableau product features and best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in data models, data flows and data visualizations concepts.
• Knowledge about On-premises to Cloud data migration and vice versa.
• Expertise in most of the following technologies- Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, ETL Tools.
• Experience in Cloud Tools like Redshift, Glue, PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership.

Required Experience & Education:

• 5-8 Years of Experience
• Experience with vendor management in an onshore/offshore model.
• Proven Architect with design, and development of large-scale enterprise reporting application solutions.
• College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.

Desired Experience:

• Expertise in reporting, ETL and cloud products.
• Expertise in Insurance and health care domain.
• Leading and mentoring the team members.

Location & Hours of Work

• Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
• Hyderabad Innovation Hub - In-Office
• 11:30AM - 8:30 PM IST
