We are currently seeking a App Dev Manager - Mainframe to join our team in Bengaluru, Karn taka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Team Leadership & Management
Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers and support engineers. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development plans. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Manage resource allocation and ensure adequate coverage for support and development tasks. Project & Delivery Management
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mainframe development projects. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to align deliverables. Track and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders. Technical Oversight
Provide guidance on mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, etc. Review and approve technical designs and code for quality and compliance. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed. Stay updated with legacy system modernization trends and tools. Support & Incident Management
Oversee L2/L3 support for mainframe applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents. Implement and monitor SLAs and KPIs for support activities. Conduct root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes for recurring issues. Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams for system maintenance and upgrades. Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for business units relying on mainframe systems. Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Preferences:

Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (12:00 PM to 10:00pm IST). The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend s basis business requirement.
