We are expanding our finance team and are looking for a dedicated professional to join us as:
Accountant – 5 Years’ Experience
Location: Chennai
Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Accounting
Compensation: ₹3 LPA – ₹6 LPA (Based on experience & expertise)
About the Role:
At Timescan Logistics, we’re seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support financial reporting. This role is ideal for a self-driven and detail-oriented professional from the logistics, service, or freight industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in internal and external audits
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and income tax regulations
Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally/ERP software
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for smooth financial operations
Support budgeting, journal entries, and other core accounting functions
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
5+ years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP
Well-versed in GST, TDS, and statutory filings
Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills
