Job Title : Accountant Location : Kolkata, West Bengal Experience: Minimum 3 years Salary : ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month Job Summary We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage our financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, GST compliance, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Day-to-Day Accounting : Manage daily financial transactions, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciliations. GST Compliance : Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) within deadlines; ensure compliance with GST laws and assist in audits. Financial Reporting : Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts. Tax Filings : Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Audit Coordination : Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing queries. Record Maintenance : Maintain up-to-date and organized records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Qualifications & Requirements Experience : Minimum 3 years as an Accountant . Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge : Strong understanding of GST laws, compliance procedures, and financial reporting standards. Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
