Academic Counselor

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Academic Counsellor to guide students in selecting the right academic path and programs. The role involves counseling, follow-ups, and converting inquiries into admissions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, student success, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents regarding course options, career paths, and educational programs.
• Handle incoming inquiries via calls, emails, social media, or walk-ins.
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses or programs.
• Follow up with leads and maintain student records in CRM or admission systems.
• Assist students throughout the admission process – form filling, document collection, fee payment, etc.
• Coordinate with faculty and admin teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional activities.
• Achieve admission targets and generate regular reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Management preferred).
• Master's degree or counseling certification is a plus.
• 1+ year experience in academic counseling, student support, or education sales preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
• Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, CRM, and online communication tools.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle pressure and targets.
• Empathy, patience, and a student-first approach.

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience and performance incentives.
