Facilitate and carry out manufacturing, quality check, assembly and testing of high precision machined parts as per the product specifications. Identify errors/drawbacks in processes and improvise the same to maintain high quality standards in the production line. Perform diagnostic tests on the assembled product to ensure high accuracy and precise results. Key Accountabilities Inspect machined parts with various instruments such as Venier, Micro-meter, Go No-go Gauge, etc Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to the specifications. Carry out high precision calibration and adjustments using the testing instruments. Develop assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products. Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor. Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures. Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings. Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures. Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results. Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products. Carry out installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacements, refitting, and adjustments in the products. Order and stock materials and supplies to avoid materials shortages. Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures. The incumbent will be based at our Bangalore office and will report to the Manager, PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support to project engineering Review of technical specifications, analyze requirements and propose engineered solutions Creation of GA, 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and BOM using Inventor, AutoCAD, SAP and Autodesk Vault Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering environment. Interactions with global engineering team for efficient KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of Design and Engineering, preferably Valves. Strong CAD skills (Part modelling, Drafting and Assembly) in Inventor & AutoCAD, CAD automation preferred Knowledge of industry specifications such as API 6D, B16.34, Section VIII, etc. Understanding of GD&T dimensioning and familiar with drafting practices as per ASME Y14.5. Experience in communication with Global clients is an added advantage. Ability to review technical specifications, engineering standards and produce associated design documentation. Good spoken and written English skills. Strong interpersonal skills for communicating thoughts and ideas.
